The Japanese also have many holidays and occasions where your thanks can be given as gifts. ‘Te lo agradezco’ addresses ‘t-you’ while ‘se lo agradezco’ to ‘usted-you’. These expressions can be translated as ‘ I appreciate it’ and they’re only applied in very formal situations.
